Millions of books written on the Heavenly Father’s great great love is not sufficient. We can never measure up HIS unfailing love for HIS children. Its hard to fathom and the best thing we can do is just soak in HIS love and reciprocate the same to HIM by obeying HIS commands.
10.He does not punish us for all our sins;
he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.
11For his unfailing love toward those who fear him
is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
12.He has removed our sins as far from us
as the east is from the west.
13.The Lord is like a father to his children,
tender and compassionate to those who fear him. Psalms 103:10-13
The 13th verse reminds me of a dream I had few years ago. It’s very very personal to me. Before I share my dream I would like to say that there are many controversies around the fact that the Father GOD could reveal HIMSELF to HIS children. The truth is yes, JESUS can reveal to you the FATHER. I just pray that you may have this special encounter or relationship with the FATHER.
Here are some verses to prove,
“My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”Mathew: 11:27 & Luke: 10:22
Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” John: 14:21
One particular day a few years ago in December I was not feeling well and my son was a toddler and I had guests coming home that day, so I had to cook. Just when I thought I needed some rest before I started my chores, my son started crying and wouldn’t let me sleep. Not sure if it was the pain or the stress or just cause I felt hopeless at that moment, I was so overwhelmed with emotion that I started sobbing. I hope every new mother would agree with me about these overwhelming episodes which we have every now and then.
But this particular evening like never before I cried out like a child and all that came out of my mouth was “Appa” meaning “Father” and “JESUS”. Eventually I was alright and did manage to cook and had a wonderful evening.
That night I had this wonderful dream, I saw myself playing with my Dad(not my earthly Father) and spending time with HIM. And in the dream I tell someone that I have to spend time with my Father and I can’t go with them, wherever they were calling me. I saw myself as a little girl running around and holding His arms.
When I woke up briefly from my sleep, I felt so happy and I asked myself, ‘wait a minute that was not my actual Father, the person with whom I was playing, but why did I call HIM Daddy and why I was I playing with HIM’? The Holy Spirit instantly told me that “It was my Heavenly Father”.
It was absolutely a wonderful experience, words fall short of telling you how I actually felt and the intimacy I have had since then with the Heavenly Father is phenomenal.
HE is always there with you. You might say I have never had such an experience or I feel GOD doesn’t love me the same way. No my friends that’s not the truth, intact the enemy would want you to think so. Remember He has no favourites.
For God does not show favouritism. Rom: 2:11
Our Heavenly Father is waiting with arms wide open for you to just experience HIS unconditional love, feel HIS embrace and hear HIS song He is singing over you.
When you go about your day and you feel you are all alone, know that YOUR FATHER is watching out for you and just lean on HIM.
Know that you are loved by the FATHER!
Shout out loud that “I am my Father’s Son”/ “I am my Father’s Daughter”!!!
