In the Message translation it says,
God told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love!
Yessss!!! HE never quit loving us, though our current situation or our taunting past or our dreadful fear of the future says otherwise. Just remember HE loves you all the time.
When I was growing up, I used to admire the way my dad loved me. I still remember when I was doing my engineering he got me my very first mobile phone in 2003. He never owned a mobile phone before but because I was staying in a hostel, he got me one to keep in touch with me. And no matter if I got good marks in my exams or not, his love never changed. I still remember getting my first colour mobile from Sony the very next year, it was an expensive phone at the time and I realised how much my dad and mom loved me and it was never based on any conditions.
It was never based on, “If you achieve something great academically or do great things”
It was always unconditional.
If my earthly parents could love me so much, how much more GOD will love us.
HE focuses on ‘us’ rather than our weaknesses or our failures.
GOD sent HIS only SON to die for us with out any condition even while we were sinners.
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Rom:5:8
HE loved us with an everlasting love.
Through HIS word, through the promptings of the HOLY SPIRIT, through songs, through ways you could never imagine HE is showering you with HIS love.
Remember HE is constantly loving you,He is constantly singing over you and quieting you with HIS love.
HIS love is not based on your behaviour.HIS love never changes, like the sun its constant. Your behaviour will never change HIS attitude towards you.HE sees you as to who you will become and not who you are now.
